Some families pass down recipes. Ours grows in the soil.

Strange Family Vineyards is where generations of devotion meet Drum Canyon's rugged terroir β€” producing wines with soul and breads baked from scratch, every single day.

Love Put In
Every bottle, every loaf
Strange Family Vineyards estate overlooking vineyard rows at golden hour

Built by hand,
grown with patience,
baked with fire.

Strange Family Vineyards began as a one-acre dream on Drum Canyon Road β€” a place where the fog rolls in just right and the soil tells a story older than any of us. Three decades later, that dream has roots deep enough to shade a gathering place.

What started as a vineyard became something more unusual: a working farm that also bakes. Our sourdough, croissants, and seasonal pastries are made from the same philosophy that guides our wine β€” slow, intentional, and honest. No shortcuts. No compromises. Just the kind of food and drink that makes you slow down and stay a while.

Whether you're here for a glass of our Reserve Cabernet or a warm loaf fresh from the stone oven, you're welcome at our table.

β€” The Strange Family

From vine to glass.
From oven to table.

Every bottle and every loaf carries the same promise: made here, made well, made for people who care where their food comes from.

Bright and saline, shaped by the Pacific fog that drifts through our vines. Green apple, citrus zest, and a clean finish.

Vineyard Tours

Walk the rows with our vintner. Learn how Drum Canyon's unique microclimate shapes every bottle β€” and why we pick by hand, never by machine.

Tasting Room

Four wines, one bench, and no rush. Pour your flight, sit on the terrace, and let the canyon air do the rest. Pair it with fresh bread.
